Types of Apollo tyre warranty

  • Warranty against Non-manufacturing defects - Limited by kilometres travelled or time period: Most tyre warranties cover a specific number of kilometres for which the tyre is used OR a time period starting from the date of purchase or manufacturing date of the tyre. Please note , generally these types of damages are covered for a time period of 2 years by the Apollo tyre warranty.
  • Apollo tyres warranty against manufacturing defects: Tyres that are defective due to raw materials used or processes used in manufacturing that cause tyres to get deformed, bulge or crack – without the cause being any external impact or any other external factor. Such cases are covered by the Apollo tyre warranty.
  • Two years or 50% tread depth Conditional Pro-rata Apollo tyre warranty: If a tyre develops issues impacting its performance before reaching 50% of its tread depth or 2 years from date of sale/manufacture, you may get a tyre replacement at a pro-rata amount payable by you as a price difference based on the tread depth remaining on the tyre subjected to claim under the Apollo tyre warranty.
  • You must note that warranties usually don't cover damage caused due to punctures, cuts or impacts, incorrect maintenance like using under or over inflated tyres or misaligned tyres. Even overloading, racing, or off-road usage of tyres can impact the claim under Apollo tyre warranty.

Tyre Maintenance: How to Extend Apollo Tyre Life

1. Maintain Proper Tyre Pressure

Incorrect tyre pressure causes uneven wear and increases fuel usage. Check your tyre pressure every 2 weeks. Always refer to the vehicle manual or door sticker for the correct PSI. You can also buy tyre pressure monitoring systems to get real time information of air pressure in your car tyres – click here to view tyre pressure monitoring system products (TPMS) – you will be surprised; these are not very expensive. You can call our tyre experts on 9212751275 in case you need any clarifications about the TPMS products.

2. Regular Wheel Alignment and Balancing

Misalignment causes the tyre to wear unevenly and can affect handling. Get your alignment and balancing checked every 5,000–8,000 km.

3. Tyre Rotation

Rotate tyres every 5,000–8,000 km for uniform wear. Follow the rotation pattern recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.

4. Load Index and Speed Rating Awareness

  • Load Index: Overloading stresses the tyre and increases the risk of damage.
  • Speed Rating: Always drive within the speed limit suitable for your tyre type. Exceeding it can cause overheating and reduce tyre life.

5. Inspect for Wear and Damage

Regularly check for:

  • Minimum tread depth from the tread depth indicator mark on your car tyres.
  • Cuts, punctures, cracks, or sidewall bulges
  • Irregular wear indicating suspension or inflation issues

6. Drive Smoothly

Avoid hard braking, rapid acceleration, and sharp turns. Smooth driving conserves tyre life and enhances safety.

7. Park Smart

Avoid parking on surfaces that are oily, hot, or uneven for long durations, as these conditions degrade rubber quality.

Why Warranty and After-Sales Support Matter When Choosing Tyres

In today’s market, tyre brands are not just evaluated on performance and price—but also on their warranty coverage and after-sales service. A strong warranty reflects the manufacturer's confidence in its product and provides assurance to buyers that any unexpected issues will be taken care of.

Brands like Apollo understand this shift in consumer expectations. With user-friendly warranty apps, prompt support, and structured claim processes, they create a reliable experience that influences customer trust and ultimately the buying decision. For many, this peace of mind is the deciding factor in choosing one brand over another.

Apollo Tyre Peace of Mind Plan (Optional Extended Coverage)

Apollo also offers a Peace of Mind Plan on select tyres:

  • Covers accidental damage, like cuts or impact
  • Available for selected patterns and must be purchased at the time of buying the tyre
