  1. Types of JK tyre warranty

Warranty against Non-manufacturing defects - Limited by kilometres travelled or time period: Most tyre warranties cover a specific number of kilometres for which the tyre is used OR a time period starting from the date of purchase or manufacturing date of the tyre.

JK tyres warranty against manufacturing defects: Tyres that are defective due to raw materials used or processes used in manufacturing that cause tyres to get deformed, bulge or crack – without the cause being any external impact or any other external factor. Such cases are covered by the JK tyre warranty.

Two or 50% tread depth Conditional Pro-rata JK tyre warranty: If a tyre develops issues impacting its performance before reaching 50% of its tread depth or 2 years from date of sale/manufacture, you may get a tyre replacement at a pro-rata amount payable by you as a price difference based on the tread depth remaining on the tyre subjected to claim under the JK tyre warranty.

You must note that warranties usually don't cover damage caused due to punctures, cuts or impacts, incorrect maintenance like using under or over inflated tyres or misaligned tyres. Even overloading, racing, or off-road usage of tyres can impact the claim under JK tyre warranty.

Tyre Care Tips for Maximising JK Tyre Life

     2.  Ensure Proper Wheel Alignment and Balancing

Get wheel alignment and balancing checked every 5,000 to 8,000 km, or if you feel uneven pulling or vibrations.

  1. Tyre Rotation

Rotate your tyres every 5,000–8,000 km to promote even tread wear and maximise tyre life.

  1. Follow Load Index and Speed Rating

Stick to the load and speed ratings indicated for your tyre model. Overloading or overspeeding risks tyre blowouts and voids warranty coverage.

  1. Regular Inspection

Periodically inspect your tyres for:

  • Tread depth (minimum 1.6 mm)
  • Cracks, bulges, or foreign object penetration
  • Uneven tread wear
  1. Practice Smooth Driving

Gentle driving—smooth acceleration, braking, and cornering—extends tyre life considerably.

  1. Smart Parking Practices

Avoid prolonged parking on surfaces that are oily, extremely hot, or uneven to protect tyre integrity.
