Types of Michelin tyre warranty
Warranty against Non-manufacturing defects - Limited by kilometres travelled or time period: Most tyre warranties cover a specific number of kilometres for which the tyre is used OR a time period starting from the date of purchase or manufacturing date of the tyre.
Michelin tyres warranty against manufacturing defects: Tyres that are defective due to raw materials used or processes used in manufacturing that cause tyres to get deformed, bulge or crack – without the cause being any external impact or any other external factor. Such cases are covered by the Michelin tyre warranty.
You must note that warranties usually don't cover damage caused due to punctures, cuts or impacts, incorrect maintenance like using under or over inflated tyres or misaligned tyres. Even overloading, racing, or off-road usage of tyres can impact the claim under Michelin tyre warranty.

- Perform Regular Wheel Alignment and Balancing
Get wheel alignment and balancing checked every 5,000 to 8,000 km or when you experience vibration or pulling to one side.
- Tyre Rotation
Rotate Michelin tyres every 5,000–8,000 km to promote even tread wear and extend tyre life.
- Respect Load Index and Speed Rating
Avoid overloading your vehicle and exceeding the tyre's designed speed limit.
- Inspect Tyres Frequently
Check for:
- Adequate tread depth (minimum 1.6 mm)
- Bulges, cuts, cracks, and embedded objects
- Drive Smoothly
Avoid sudden acceleration, abrupt braking, and sharp turns. Gentle driving habits help tyres last longer.
- Park Properly
Avoid long parking on hot, rocky, or oily surfaces, which can degrade rubber compounds over time.
